Why screen? Because blood work tells you something is off. Ultrasound shows you what and where. Many serious conditions — masses, stones, organ changes — can be caught early, before they become emergencies.
What to expect: The scan takes about 20–30 minutes. A small area of fur is shaved, a probe is gently moved across the belly, and that's it. Most pets tolerate it with no problem. Results are reviewed with you the same day.
